DESIGN portfolio
Projects created in the span of 3 years as a graphic designer at my first full time job, a women’s ministry dedicated to eradicating biblical poverty & 4 years as a student and freelancer at a small Christian college focused on helping people find their vocation.
Each project contains their own story & thoughtful process.
Proverbs 31 Ministries
From the summer of 2021 to the fall of 2024, I worked as a graphic designer for Proverbs 31 Ministries in Charlotte, NC. This opportunity came about 2 weeks following my college graduation & it has been the biggest blessing of my life thus far. I not only was able to design multiple marketing campaigns from start to finish, I also had the opportunity to design printed study guides, a multitude of social media graphics and art direct photoshoots.
Brand + Web Design
Creating what I wish existed.
I spend the majority of my free time designing for fun, mainly because I enjoy it and also to continue to grow my skills and experiment outside of my job. I have a social media account that I post on weekly. I create a variety of posts, handwritten thoughts, faith based designs, song lyrics and a few branding projects here and there. Over the years I have switched up my content and niches, which is not the greatest strategy for growth and retention, but I love being able to connect with others through music, faith, design and humor regardless of the following. At my height I had around 30k followers, only posting curated mood boards and enneagram content … I had to make a choice, do I want a space where I can experiment and showcase all parts of myself, or do I want to stay placed in a box for the sole purpose of keeping a following? The account has decreased in numbers, but I have been able to grow in my skills and try new styles of design, share my life, my clothes, my various interests, etc. while still maintaining some sort of following. My favorite design quote comes from Saul Bass himself, “I want to create beautiful things, even if nobody cares ...”
