Opportunity
Design a digital marketing campaign for Adidas that targets the 18-25 age group. The campaign must include both desktop and mobile landing pages, 4 banner ads (Wide skyscraper, medium rectangle, billboard, and large mobile banner) and an email.
Solution
I was assigned to the company Adidas. I wanted to promote Adidas’ outdoor collection, specifically their Terrex line. The outdoors and adventures that Adidas Outdoor promotes are exciting and fun, but their products reach an entire market that isn’t promoted on their websites. They currently sponsor professional disc golfers such as Eagle McMahon, Kona Panis and in the past, Paul McBeth. I wanted to promote the most popular shoe for disc golf currently which is the Adidas Terrex Agravic XT Trail Running shoe. They are lightweight, breathable, flexible and extremely grippy. They are the “perfect” shoe for the sport of disc golf. Right now, the number 2 disc golfer in the world is a 21 year old named Eagle McMahon. He is an Adidas Athlete who wears these shoes and other Adidas gear while playing at tournaments. I decided to promote the shoe by making him the face of the campaign. This campaign would be promoted to current male disc golfers between the ages of 18-25 and reach audiences between collegiate disc golfers and rookies who are just starting out.
